Vincenzo is an enthusiastic performer and teacher, having begun his career teaching privately at Organic Music while performing professionally with Rosario Strings even from the beginning of his undergraduate program at the Vancouver Academy of Music (joint program with Thompson Rivers University) in Vancouver. Now in Kelowna, Vincenzo continues to perform with groups of all kinds, including: the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra, Okanagan Pops Orchestra as well as various choirs including Okanagan Symphony Chorus, Kelowna Community Choir and Jubilation Singers, where he has frequently been requested to play as a guest artist or as a part of ensemble. Vincenzo also maintains a special affinity for the violin solo repertoire and can be seen preparing for various solo recitals, weddings and events, where he can display the full range of colours the violin has to offer.

Outside of deepening his knowledge and appreciation of the instrument, Vincenzo’s passion also lies in sharing these findings with his students. Vincenzo’s pedagogical style greatly leans on the philosophy of Shinichi Suzuki, borrowing from the idea that learning music is much like learning a language. However, past the early stages, Vincenzo’s curriculum is highly customized for the individual, in the interest of refining the very personal nuances in technique as well as exploring each person’s unique interests.

Now a music educator everywhere from Kelowna to Vernon and most recently a husband to a beautiful wife, Vincenzo continues to quickly add new chapters to his life after recently settling in the Okanagan and is looking forward to updating his biography as it happens!
